UFB- UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL

The Future PFLers learn their trades at the University level. The games is overseen by the National University Sports Association (NUSA). The Universities are split into three sporting levels (First-Class, Second-Class and Third-Class).

The top teams in the NUSA First-Class ranks play off for the Champions Bowl each year, being declared the NUSA National Champions. To enter the eight team tournament, you have to win your conference, or be the in the top two runners-up or independent rankings. There are six conferenccs in NUSA First-Class Football ranks (FCF).

The six conferences are- The Capital Ten or Cap-Ten, Great Eastern Conference (GEC), The Great Ten, The Great Twelve, The Southern Athletic Conference (SAC) and the Great Western Conference.

At the culmination of the Champions Tournament, the top two teams play off for the Champions Bowl. The other 30 best schools participate in the lucrative other bowl games. These are played between Yule and New Year’s Day. This includes the Boxing Day Classics (26th Dec) and the New Years Classics (31st Dec & Jan 1st).

The other big bowl games (top 4, NYC- the ‘CHAS’ bowls) are:

  • Apple Bowl Game
  • The Cherry Bowl
  • The Honey Bowl
  • The Sweet Bowl

The remaining bowl games, set-up by the Bowl Executive Committee (BEC) are:

Boxing Day Classics:

  • Beach Bowl Game (San Andreas)
  • Capital Bowl (Landor)
  • Tomato Bowl (Floradopolis, Floradonia)

  • The Lemon Bowl
  • The Fruit Bowl
  • Olive Bowl
  • Grape Bowl
  • Yule Bowl
  • Festive Bowl
  • Fish Bowl
  • Pear Bowl
  • Corn Bowl
  • Clover Bowl
