There are sixteen teams that make up the PFL, since 2017 they’ve been divided into four divisions of four teams. – PFL East, PFL Central, PFL North and PFL West.
The eighteen game schedule is played out over twenty weeks. Each team plays everyone in their division twice (home and away) and everyone else in the league once. The inter-divisional games are flipped each year from home and away . The complete cycle of games where every team has played each other twice (home and away) takes just two years.
