UFB | Champions Bowl | 1 Ohara vs 2 Olaskas | USN
The grand final of the NUSA University Football (UFB) season in Eboria ends tonight with the Champions Bowl!
The Number one and number two ranked Universities in Eboria will meet as the #1 Ohara University Scarlets go up against the #2 Univeristy of Olaskas Maroons. The tournament provided little shocks this year, as the seedings proved mostly accurate.
Both teams play strong defences and have good mobile quarterback play. Olaskas junior QB Brad Carson is agile and accurate, Ohara’s sophmore sensation is Tayvon Coles, who is a scrambler with a big arm. Both teams have good blocking Forwards and 2-3 good backs too, so establishing the ground game could be key.
UFB: The Semi-Finals loom | No major shocks in 1/4 finals, although holders go out.
So, after another round of matches, three of the four top seeds remain. Ohara and Olaskas convincingly took care of Gayle and NESU, respectively. Granada against Eregonia wasn’t that close, after the Bulldogs raced into a 17-0 lead. Only BSU got the away win, beating defending Champions O’Connell 31-24, that was not really a major shock, though. BSU’s defence is legit badass! Dexter Williams going at three was a bit of a surprise, as was Calvin Smith being in the first round. Dre Nalen fell to no.10, the Sharks deciding they could not pass up this opportunity.
The 96ers and Oilers do have potential game-changers (or game-breakers) on their hands. Two stud players that really stood out in this class of 2017.
Most teams you can say have upgraded well with the first round selections.
The proof. though, will be when we see those players suit up and go at it, later this year.
NUSA University Football | Vin Marshall |Supreme Sports
Vin Marshall’s four year legacy at The O’Connell university is cemented with him being the cover star of Supreme Sports Video Game for the upcoming season: First Class Football: Class of 2018, which is available from 4th August 2017.
The cover, as always is subject to change before the release, but this is what the Supreme Guys have sent to the PFLdotcom centre. Congratulations, Vin Marshall! looking forward to ‘the Beast’ being in the PFL for 2017-18!

RAMS vs ‘ROCKS | NUSA National Championship
Champions Bowl | Sat. January 7th 2017 | USN | 8pm ECT
The Number three ranked University of Stamford Rams go up against the (now favourites) Number five(!) ranked O’Connell Shamrocks. How those seedings appeared to deceive, when it came to playing the games in the NUSA Tournament.
Two seniors may have a big say in the contest, with the Rams’ QB Dre Nalen and enigmatic Shamrocks’ DE Vin Marshall both playing their last games at University. Both are expected to be early picks in the PFL Draft 2017.
Who wants it more? Not too long to find out now!
