Oilers part ways with Coach Hickey

By Ryan Solis, PFL Reporter.

The Tallassea Oilers have relieved Head Coach Stan Hickey of his duties. Attack Co-ordinator Eric Bassey will assume interim responsibilities for the last four games. With a 3-11 record, the Oilers have really disappointed this season.

It was rumoured that the players had lost faith in Coach Hickey, which is why the management decided it was best to make the change now, giving the players four games to prove themselves.

The hunt for a new head coach begins almost immediately with several UFB coaches in contention for the post. More on this as the story unfolds.
