Michael Vincent (Quarterback) Morrigan Giants 2001-2012 |
PFL Legends Class of 2016
A first time ballot entry. Mike Vincent changed the position profile in the PFL. He became seen as the ‘prototype QB’ Quick, agile, strong-arm, fearless… he seemed to possess it all.
In 12 seasons, Vincent displayed great accuracy, being a top rated passer and runner for the majority of his career. Leading from the front, Mike Vincent was league MVP twice, Crystal Bowl MVP in 2010. He went to the Crystal Bowl three times, winning two (39 & 40). He was the Quarterback in the nail-biter- a 27-28 loss to the Panthers, and fellow class of 2016 inductee- Tony Jones.
The Quarterback position has changed this millenium- with Elijah Brooks and Bo Mills taking over the mantel from Sean Wallace and Michael Vincent. Vincent was the first of these pioneers of ‘playmaker Quarterbacks’
Congratulations! and welcome to the Hall of Legends, Mike Vincent!
